“I remember watching a friend stare at a blank page for hours, caught between ideas and doubt. We’ve all felt that quiet standstill. When the mind keeps circling but nothing takes shape. As kids, we would’ve turned it into a game. As adults, we forget that we still can.
In over ten years in the creative industry, I noticed how small creative moments like sketching an idea, building from scraps, swapping wild “what-ifs" broke that standstill. People laughed, relaxed, and suddenly saw connections they’d missed before. Their thinking opened again.
That’s why I started Creative Playground: to show that creativity is more than talent or art, it’s a way of thinking. Through play and exploration, we reconnect with curiosity, spark imagination, and bring more lightness into everyday life. So new ideas keep finding us whenever we need them.”

Common questions about Creative Playground
Why do you call it a Playground?
A playground is our first school of freedom. It is where the body learns before the mind, where risk feels safe, rules are negotiated, and imagination has more authority than logic. It is a space of supervised autonomy, where mistakes are allowed and curiosity leads the way. That feeling stays with us. It is often the first place where we felt truly free. Creative Playground carries that spirit forward.
What do you stand for?
We believe everyone is creative.
We build experiences that are honest, hands-on, and shaped by the real spirit of the people and places involved.
Curiosity guides how we explore. Play is how we move ideas forward. Thoughtful design ties it all together. And authenticity runs through everything, from how we work with our partners to how we show up for our participants.
The deeper purpose is for something to change. That you leave a Playground more open-minded, more confident, and more connected to your own creative instincts than when you arrived.
I've never done anything like this. Is that a problem?
You are not alone. Many of our participants never joined a Playground or similar experience. This is why we ensure that everybody has the same starting point. While each participant’s motivation can be different, we gather all for the same reason: to explore, connect, and play. Let curiosity lead the way. If we all keep an open mind and let the program take its course, we are all set for a beautiful experience.
What are some of the creative activities that we will be doing?
We’ll explore through playful and hands-on workshops, listen to inspiring talks, share stories and experiences, and enjoy nature in ways that move us. There might be painting, making, building, music, movement, along with cooking delicious meals from local ingredients and more.
